PROPHET JOHN ABIODUN OLUWADARE
Prophet John Abiodun Oluwadare (former Ogundare) is the dynamic Pastor and General Superintendent of Christ Redemption Bible Church, Ketu, Lagos. He was born on 29th December 1958 at Ikire to the Christian family of Late Pa Joshua Babafemi Ogundare and Mrs. Eunice Olasumbo Ogundare of Asaba Compound, Odo-oja, Ijebu-jesa, Osun State, Nigeria.
After his educational career, he worked in many organizations, with Ashaka Cement Plc. being his last place of work where he rose to the position of Senior Purchasing Officer before he resigned to take up the Ministerial call fully.
Though, he was born into Anglican Communion, but he got converted, as a born again Christian in 1972 when he was 14years old, at Be Prepared Evangelical Church, Ibadan, under the leadership of Bishop Dapo Ojo, the General Overseer, where he was deeply rooted in the sound doctrine of God. However, because of parental pressure, he crossed over to Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Igbala, Ibadan.
When he finally moved down to Lagos, he continued his Christian service at Christ Apostolic Church, Fadeyi Assembly, Fadeyi, Lagos. As he continued to wax stronger and stronger in the Lord there, he became the first anointed Choir Master of the assembly and the first Secretary of the Church, a post he held till he left the Church to answer the call of God into the ministry. As part of his spiritual growth in the Church, he was ordained as an Elder in Christ Apostolic Church in 1988.
The Ministry
Even though God has been using him in so many ways in his assembly through the spiritual gifts endowed upon him and dissemination of sound doctrine of God, and has been revealing some things to him concerning the call, he did not yield to the call until 1994, when through divine direction, he enrolled for a 5 years course in Pastoral and Biblical Theology at Life Theological Seminary, and the same year started a family night prayer meeting which metamorphosed into Christian Fellowship Centre, and later, through divine revelation and mandate became what is now known as, Christ Redemption Bible Church.
For more than a decade, Pastor John Oluwadare has been part of God’s end-time ministers propagating the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world. According to the vision the Lord gave to him, “Depopulating the kingdom of satan to populate the Kingdom of God,” the Lord has been using him tremendously through the power of the Holy Spirit, undiluted word of God and effectual fervent prayer, to save, heal, and deliver many souls home and abroad.
Pastor John Oluwadare is a minister of God who believes in the balanced word of God, as well as in the efficacy of prevailing prayer. He believes and practices holiness within and without. He believes, according to the Scripture, that without holiness no man shall see the Lord. He is the host of the popular weekly Television programme, “HEAL MY LAND”, which is being relayed every Tuesday on Lagos Television (LTV8, DSTV 129) from 9.00-9.30p.m., and Solution Hour online every Saturday 9:00 – 9:30 pm to reach out to millions of people all over the world on air for salvation of souls, diverse healings and deliverances. Through these programmes, the Lord has been using him mightily to depopulate the kingdom of satan to populate the Kingdom of God.
He is a prolific writer of a prayer book entitled, “Heal My Land Prayer Book,” which emanated from the, “Heal My Land” Television Programme. It is a book designed as a Problem-solving Prayer and deliverance manual for all people all over the world. He also authored the books, “Gateway To Greatness,” and “Soaring Higher, Desperate Prayers, ”
Pastor John, as he is popularly called, is a prophet of God by calling, a preacher, and teacher of the word. Through his ministration home and abroad, on air and in various Churches in Nigeria and abroad, many souls are being won into the Kingdom of God, many people are being delivered from the bondages of satan, many barren are being fruitful, while many are being blessed, prospered, elevated, healed etc. Some of these testimonies are published in his Heal My Land Prayer Book, and every month in the Ministry’s monthly magazine, Redemption Digest. He is also a conference speaker and revivalist.
He is a graduate of Life Theological Seminary, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria where he bagged his B.TH in Biblical Studies in 1999.
He is a faithful and loving husband of Pastor (Mrs.) Martha Oluwadare, a virtuous and supportive woman indeed. They are blessed with Godly children, vibrant in the work of the Lord.
